Veneers can transform a smile. They can also be the wrong choice. Let's talk about both.
Good candidates: gaps between front teeth that orthodontics could fix but you don't want years of treatment. Stained teeth that don't respond to whitening. Slightly worn or chipped edges. Teeth that are healthy underneath but cosmetically irregular. Less ideal candidates: severe crowding (orthodontics first). Grinders who haven't fixed the grinding habit (veneers crack). People expecting Hollywood-white shade on naturally darker dentin (the result looks artificial). Anyone hoping veneers will last forever (they typically need replacement after ten to fifteen years). The honest part: veneers involve removing a thin layer of enamel. That's permanent. We can refresh or replace veneers later, but we can't put enamel back. So the decision deserves real thought, not an Instagram impulse. At our South Delhi clinic, we walk through digital mock-ups first. You see the result on screen before any prep starts. If you change your mind after seeing the preview, no harm done. #Veneers #SmileMakeover #CosmeticDentistry #DelhiDentist #DigitalSmileDesign
