How do you actually pick a dentist if you're new to the area or starting over? A few honest pointers. Look for explanation, not just treatment. A dentist who shows you the X-ray, points out the issue, and explains your options (including doing nothing) is one who respects your decision-making. If everything feels rushed, that's a flag. Ask about technology, but don't be sold on it. Digital X-rays and intraoral scanners are now standard. Lasers, microscopes and 3D printing are useful for specific cases. The presence of fancy equipment matters less than the dentist's skill in using it. Pricing should be predictable. Ask for a written treatment plan with costs before any work starts. Surprises during procedures are not okay. Cleanliness is non-negotiable. Look around. Are instruments sealed and dated? Is the chair clean between patients? Does the staff use proper PPE? Reviews help, but read the negative ones too. A clinic that handles a complaint well is often better than one with only five-star praise. We're happy to be that second opinion if you're unsure. #ChoosingADentist #DentalCare #DentistDelhi #OralHealth #FamilyDentist
